Dude!

I saw this last night and was intrigued...

I figure I'll try and do it more often. I'm horrible at returning phone calls (sorry blueangelrock!), and for some people (*cough*Pete!*cough*) this is the only way they know what's going on in my life.

The weekend was great-- well, except for the 8 hours on the freeway and nalroth near-exploding on the Jersey turnpike. Traffic is not our friend, oh no, precious. Dinner at Outback with zhai and tikal plus nalroth's grandparents was awesome. Much fun was had after a brief stint at musical seats (zhai was my friend first!) and was followed by more fun at Professor Java's coffee place. Saturday's highlights include getting addicted to zhai's DS, exploration at the local farmer's market, the procurement of a really awesome costume for moi (nalroth spoils me so!), and a fun time meeting a lot of his Brothers and having a fun time at their house! Sunday wrapped up nicely with bird cuddles (Vasya is awesome, but Smeagol is still my favorite) and a scenic excursion to nalroth's grandparents house, where I met Samwise the husky (who is gorgeous!) and immediately got book envy. The drive back was rather uneventful, and cuddles before sinking into well-earned slumber were excellent.

In any case-- I've had more than enough time to parasitize nalroth's resources, and now it's time for me to re-enter the working world. At least part time, that is. I'm hitting all the local bookstores, and any pet stores that seem ethical in their treatment (I'm completely avoiding the Petco on Lee Highway, though the Petsmart in Fair Lakes is totally a possibility). Any suggestions?

Oh, and for you local ladies-- any suggestions on a good place to get a haircut? Curly hair is a pain in the wazoo... -__-;;;
