Yup! Today started off kinda crappy-- got up early to register for classes, and I had to make a tough choice. Well, one class was automatic-- Biochemistry 153A. There were three different profs teaching different lectures, and two of them were rated 2 and 3 out of 10, respectively. The third got a 6.5/7-- needless to say, I signed up for that professor first. Now that was 5 units down-- and I only had 5 more units I could sign up for during this pass. So, I had to choose between getting a good Physics professor (again, a 3 vs a 7), or sign up for a class that I need to graduate (OBEE 120-- evolution.) I was originally going to sign up for OBEE 120, since the class size is smaller and I needed to take it for my major.. But, I decided to sign up for Physics instead. So, now I watch the class fill up in the next week, and hope there's at least one space open for me next Thursday, when my 2nd pass starts. o__o;;;

And then I went to LS lab (where we played with E. coli and carcinogenic fluorescent stuff that'd make your skin glow in the dark if you touched it!) and we found out the midterm that I took on Tuesday was graded-- and that the average was 79. This freaked me out, since I thought I'd bombed it-- and everyone else I'd talked to shared the same sentiments. So, when the TA shared that, we all looked at each other with bugged out eyes, going, "Oh my God... Are we all screwed?"

So, yah, got back to my apartment (after having a wonderful meeting with my whale-skull-asymmetry-project Grad student advisor guy... He's cool. He knew about the 'Badger' flash animation. >:D ) and checked up on OBEE 120- 34 out of 80 seats taken. =/ And then I checked the online gradebook, and found that they'd posted the grades for the 2nd midterm... and I got an 88!! Woohoo! (Heh, just to give the context-- I was 31 out of 240 for the first midterm, and for the second I'm 18 out of 150..) I did better on that one than I did on the first! Squee! And then I check my e-mail and it turns out they're offering a new OBEE class-- that'll fulfill one of the requirements that I'm *not* looking forward to taking-- and it sounds like fun! So, if they offer it next quarter, cool-- if not, I can take it in the Fall! XD

God is so cool. I really need to just relax and not worry-- so long as I work hard, and grow in my walk with Him, 'sall good. Actually, it's 'sall good anyways. I need to learn that, too. n__n

Oh, and in other news-- my 2.5 year with Kyle is next Tuesday. Since he and I will both be swamped with work (I can't wait to see his animation this year! Erin, I'm gonna have to drag you 'n Lan to the Open Show!) we'll probably just get together for some yummy dinner this weekend. I don't know if I'll make BJ's-style chicken sandwhiches, or if I'll do Beef Stroganoff again. Hee, and I get to give him his presents-- a huge cookbook on chicken (he really liked the rice one I gave him for V-day... ;D ) and a new gift I just finished up tonight. My bonsai seedling is taking off-- I love it so much! It's so amazing seeing life sprout from dormancy.. And today I gently poked around to see if any of the other 6 seedlings were sprouting, and I found two! Inspiration struck, and I gently pulled them out of my bonsai's pot, and stuck them in a pretty glass one that I'll give to Kyle! The thought of plants in his apartment tickles me.. And he's so sweet, I can see him being all genter and ginger with it. I planted both, but I don't think I'll tell him that, just in case one doesn't make it.. n__n;;;

Okay, and I've stalled long enough... I have a physics midterm on Monday I haven't started studying for, and one next Friday I haven't studied for, either. Meep! Ooh, ooh, and next weekend Mom 'n Dad are coming down, and we're just gonna hang out and check out apartments! Squee!
