Aaah, the life of a science major..
May. 2nd, 2004 03:15 pmTragedy has struck!!... I'm out of creamer. ;__; The coffee's running out, too. And I still have a good 10 hours of study time left! Food I can do without (I've actually managed to make one package of Cheese Tortellini, three ears of corn, and a package of frozen veggies last all week... Muwahahah! I'm training to be a grad student, I guess... ;D ), but without coffee.. Can I go on? What will I doooooo?
Heh, yeah. Sorry I haven't been chatting with you guys very much lately. A lot of things are coming to a head all at once, which, coupled with my newly-found social life, mean I's a very busy Skkye-burd!
Interesting events covering last week:
* Last Sunday my church-group started a game of 'Assassins', and made the mistake of arming us all with waterguns.. Muwahahah!
* Monday: Biochem Midterm #1. My reaction: o__O;;;;;; . Jayme's reaction: O__o;;; . The class' reaction: O___O;;; #$*&%!!!!!
* Tuesday: Prof. went over Biochem midterm. Our reactions were justified.
* Wednesday: Lunch with Lisa (Meg ditched us!) and Jayme... Apparently, I've now been wrangled into cosplaying at some Con in Anaheim Memorial Day Weekend... My options now are to go as Ino, Sexy-no-Jutsu Naruto, or random Anbu. (Lisa (FBQ Lisa, not small-group Lisa) is the VP of the UCLA Anime Club, and apparently they've got 30-something people all cosplaying as Naruto characters.. Muwahahahah!!!)
* Thursday: Cursed physics lab with all my being.
* Friday: REALLY cool GoC. One of the professors from the Master's College came and spoke, and all I have to say is *wow*. I wish we were fed like that more often! In other news, Brea's Retreat (she's in charge of it this time 'round!) kicked off. Aaaaaand, I managed to kill my target for Assassins! Muwahahah! Now, I get to take his target and go stalk him/her... >:D
* Saturday: Wrestled with Physics *all* day, had Thai Iced Tea Boba (with lychee jello instead of black pearls.. I now crave lychee jello).
* Sunday: Studying, sucking on the grounds left in my French Press, attempting to avoid more studying by posting to LJ... *cue innocent whistle*.
Upcoming events:
*Monday: Major spankage a la Physics.
*Monday Night: Moral dilemma.. Goof off, or catch up? Bah.
*Tuesday: *Definitely* catch up.
*Wednesday: Possible dorm-fooding.. *drool*
*Thursday: Kyle's film got chosen for the Director's Show, which takes place in some fancy-shmancy theater in Hollywood. Cons: I have to dress up, and we have to somehow navigate our ways to Hollywood. Pros: I get to see Kyle's film again, and be all fan-girlish towards the other animators whose films I enjoyed.
*Friday: Go home for Mommy's day! Yaaaaaay! Food I don't have to cook myself!
Um.... That is all. Now I feel sufficiently motivated to begin studying again. ;)
Erin, hope your eye starts behaving! And Bren-- you can do eeet! (... Blades? Blades?)
