What I've learned in my Java class, so far:
javaKris = Kris - sanity
Grr.... I've wasted so much time on the homework for this stupid class. The textbook is long and convoluted, the learning curve for the homework is atrocious, and I keep wondering why I'm paying for a class where the extent of 'teaching' are a few PowerPoint slides reiterating point-for-point what's in the textbook without any further elaboration or examples. There were so many things I wanted to do today, like play with sculpey, Illustrator, finally finish up a house plan for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
cutefuzzykitty-- as it is I haven't even finished the homework assignment from last chapter, let alone finish reading this one!

In other words, no news from either the Smithsonian or the NWF, so Best Buy gets to exploit me for at least a little longer as I continue my search for gainful employment. :P I think cloudy weather makes me cranky.
